We are looking for a Cover Teacher/Supervisor to facilitate students’ learning in the absence of teachers. Applicants should have a strong commitment to supporting young people to learn, a willingness to develop learning materials and be able to create a good rapport with students.

Under the direction of the Head of Design Technology the Design Technology Technician will provide technical support and resources to the department, maintain equipment and resources and ensure compliance with issues relating to Health and Safety.

You will be reliable and readily available during exam periodswhich include both external and internal series throughout the academic year. You willhave effective communication skills, be confident and have a reassuring presence to candidates in exam rooms, together with the ability to give instructions and manage situations involving different groups of people.
Due to exam sessions we require availability during the hours 8.30 am until 4 pm, with particular emphasis on morning examinations. Invigilators will also be expected to assist students with additional needs by undertaking scribe and reading support during examinations. Full training will be provided.
